“I’m the editor of FrontRowDiary.com. FRD as we like to call it, it started out as a weekly column on a pre-existing site but somehow turned into one of my own. It’s been a whirlwind but I have loved stepping up to this challenging role. Next 12 months…who knows….I hope the site grows and only gets bigger.”

What are your New Year beauty resolutions? To properly look after my skin, I am shamefully useless at the moment.

What’s your usual daily makeup routine? Always wear MAC liquid eyeliner in boot black on my upper lid and Chanel waterproof liner on the bottom. If I am running errands and have a casual day I may wear MAC mineralize and a pinch of blush, but I tend to just keep it simple.

Does it take you long to get ready? If I am going out at night or have an event I make much more of an effort, I think makeup and hair takes me about 25 minutes.

What would you do if you had more time to get ready? Style my hair properly everyday, it is usually straight as that is the easiest. Oh and I would stick my fake brows on everyday, they are real hair implanted on a silicone base so they look real once glued on!

What’s your favourite evening look right now? I love a really smokey eye using natural colours such as browns and taupes with gold highlights.

Are you an eyes or lips girl? Eyes, my mother is always asking me if I am going to put some lippy on when we go out.

Favourite nail polish colour? OPI You Don’t Know Jacques. It’s a gorgeous muddy brown with a hint of deep purple.

Long nails? Or short? Short, only because mine are paper thin from years of biting (Alopecia also effects their strength) so if they get too long they snap.

What’s the one beauty product you’ve used for years and can’t give up? MAC boot black liquid liner! I feel naked without my liner on.

Which fragrance/s are you wearing and why? I am currently mixing a few Jo Malone fragrances - Pomegranate Noir, Vanilla Anise, Lime and Cedar and Vintage Gardenia. I rotate them depending on my mood.

What beauty faux pas are you always committing - even though you know you shouldn’t? Using makeup wipes every evening to take off my eyeliner!

Best beauty advice you’ve ever read/heard? Less is more when it comes to foundation and bronzer.

What advice would you tell the younger you? Eyeliner is your friend! For years I refused to wear it, now I cant go without it. It gives the illusion of lashes that I don’t have.
