Party in Paris!

The party season started with an extravaganza in Paris. Sonia Rykiel unveiled her lingerie line for H&M with a fantasy themed bash in The Grand Palais. An absolute stunning set, gorgeous models in cute lingerie and knit wear (the new designer collaboration due to hit H&M on 5 December) the theme was a sexy adult theme park - frivolous and fun and a little bit naughty.
Guests sat under a lighted Eiffel Tower and the collections were displayed on floats which emerged from a recreation of the Arc de Triomphe, with a Parisian funfair as a backdrop.
The guest list was star studded - Jean Paul Gaultier, Kate Bosworth, Alice Dellal, Eva Herzigova, Nadja Auermann and Emanuelle Beart to name just a few of the 2,000 lucky to be invited.
Sonia Rykiel epitomises all things french and her lingerie and knitwear reflects her eponymous line while also keeping within the confines of mass market H&M. Like all the designer collaborations this clever department store does, it’s sure to sell out fast.
