Here’s a timeless wedding look that’s both modern and classic - a brown smokey eye, nude lips and soft curls.
Gorgeous Ivanka Trump married Jared Kushner on Sunday in a hand made Vera Wang gown inspired by the wedding dress that Princess Grace Kelly wore to marry Prince Rainier III of Monaco in 1956. It’s the first time in about 13 years that Wang has made a celebrity dress with sleeves and it’s a look she hopes will take off.
Eschewing the popular bridal up-do, Ivanka wore her hair down with a side parting. Makeup artist Alexa Rodulfo said she curled her locks with a curling iron and left them pinned to set while she applied the makeup. She wanted a warm complexion, so she blended bronzer and blush to create a flawless base. The eyes look like she’s used three to four varying shades of brown - dark closest to the lashline and in the crease with a highlighter under the brow. Lips are glossy and nude.
What do you think? Isn’t this just the most gorgeous wedding makeup? It’s not to sexy that it’s vampy (never a good look when you’re in virginal white), but not too bare. It’s the kind of makeup that you’ll never look back on and think ye gad, why did I wear/do that? It’s just nice. As for the dress….. well, that’s not my cup of tea but…. it does make a statement.

She look samazing - I agree the make-up is perfect - quite natural and subtle but not too much - still a hint of drama in there!
The dress is also not my cup of tea but I do like the deatil of the lace overlay at teh back - would be nice as a wee cape/bolero style jacket prehaps?
Ivanka looks unbelievably beautiful. (although she does most days!) The dress has sleeves because her husband is Orthodox Jewish, so it’s tradition and she really pulls it off. She is one classy young woman and such a great role model.
