Trelise Cooper

It was great to see a dark smokey eye at Trelise Cooper - makeup key Amber D from M.A.C assured me there was ‘lots of products on the eye’. Each colour blended to perfection, creating a sexy, smouldering look.
Two products on the eyes were Silver Dusk for a strong, shiny highlight and Tan pigment on the lid for a gorgeous pop of shine. The colour was taken up to the brow and smudged underneath to get that gorgeous smokey look. To get a flawless, creamy skin, the artists used Studio Sculpt Foundation. The look was finished with bright Fuschia Lipmix.
Grant Bettjeman wanted hair with drama and each model had a ‘tight french roll with a big juicy quiff’. It looked awesome on the runway. I love a good quiff and these looked very rock n roll but also quite sexy. They even managed to get Laura’s (from New Zealand’s Next Top Model fame) short hair into a sky high style - ingenious.
Using L’Oreal products the team backcombed, teased and sprayed copious amounts of hairspray to set. The show started with Cooper - Trelise’s diffusion line that is both cheaper and younger and finished with her eponymous collection. For that the hair team fixed giant flowers to the hair - some doubled in front like floral headlights and some at the back. It looked striking.
