celebrity match

I have a friend who seems to be on a never-ending quest to get her hair right. She’s gone from dark brunette, to varying shades of lighter and has now decided she wants to go slightly darker again - so that the blonde can grow out and she can emulate a celebrity look she saw in a magazine. She showed me the photo and it was gorgeous (Isabel Lucas if you must know). The most reassuring thing is that for her to achieve it is completely realistic. Her hair is not that dissimilar and should do what she wants it to.

Her hair journey has been quite an adventure. She went to one of the best hairdressers in the city yet had the junior colorist disobey the stylist’s orders so that she’d get the right result. It worked. 

I’ve always played it pretty safe - I’ve never been anything other than a blonde, despite flirting with the idea of going darker at times. I’m sure if ScarJo can do it then so could I, but I just don’t know how I’d feel and don’t really want to be frequenting the salon chair too often in order to correct a colour choice I’d made on a whim. Which is why it is handy when celebrities do all this work for us - if we pick one with a similar skin tone, age, eye colour and so forth we can learn from their mistakes. I’m currently lusting after Kate Moss’s length and colour. Whose hair do you like? Do you take a photo with you to the salon when you’re getting a cut and colour?
