I love watching actresses strut their stuff down a red carpet but I have to say, it’s becoming less and less an indicator of fashion the only thing worthwhile noting is the hair and makeup and at this year’s Golden Globes there are two distinct looks that win in my books: sleek back or long with loose curls.

The actresses looks I love are: Marion Cotillard (minus the shoes), Cameron Diaz, Rose Byrne, Ginnifer Goodwin and January Jones. I like Diane Kruger’s style but this was a bit blah I thought and Chloe Sevigny usually gets it so right and has come out all a ruffle.

I did not like Emily Blunt’s mismatched foundation to her spray tan and Toni Collette’s makeup artist looked like she’d had a fit with the bronzer.
