NYFW Sophie Theallet
February 22, 2010
Luminary makeup artist Stephane Marais decided to create an innocent and pretty look for CFDA winner and relative catwalk newcomer Sophie Theallet.
Stephane descibed her inspiration as, farm girl goes to the big city - fresh faced and innocent with a chic twist.
On eyes: Lip Pencil in Stripdown - drawn and blended into the crease of the eyelid and below the eye using MAC 194 Brush. Iridescent powder in Silver Dusk and MAC Pro Studio Finish Face Powder in Gold was blended together using Mixing Medium water base and applied along the top and bottom lash lines, blended into the Stripdown Lip Pencil.
On face she used Face and Body Foundation applied where needed. To the apples of the cheeks Blushcreme in Posey and Laid Back and then layered on top she used Cream Colour Base in Shell.
Pressed into the lip lightly to look like a stain was Lipstick in Amorous.
What I also like about this look is the hair. It’s a fresh take on the side braid that was a huge hit last year… the low, side ponytail is both fresh and mature and could be worn to the office, on the weekend or out to dinner.
