Long, batty lashes are the stuff that dreams are made of. Well, for those with short, squat lashes they certainly are - length is the holy grail and nohing delivers it like the new Maybelline Lash Stiletto Mascara, $18.95.
Shaped like the heel of a stiletto, the brush has longer bristles at one end, which combs more product to the outer lashes (but for the best result use an eye lash curler first).
The formula is slick, think oil slick, it’s not clumpy and it doesn’t flake, even when you’re tired and absentmindedly rubbing your eyes while staring at the computer screen. It has Pro-Vitamin B5, so it conditions lashes while making them look deathly spikey.
Two coats pack a punch, one is nice. Reapply at the end of the day if you don’t have time to redo your face for a night out. The more coats - the more spikey the effect, which is pretty cool.
This mascara won’t fatten lashes, yet it doesn’t aim to either, which is perfect for those who want length not width. Because really when it comes to using our wily female ways, nothing helps more than long, fluttering lashes.
