good enough to eat

A new lippie is like, well, another loaf of bread - common as muck. Lipsticks come and go but only the good ones remain.
Karen Murrell lippies have all the hallmarks of cult status: great colours, pleasant taste and odor, creamy formulation and lasting power; it took ages for the red to leave my lips. A good sign.
But perhaps the most promising aspect of these little beauties is that they are as natural as possible, which means about 99% natural. And the packaging is too, the lipstick canisters are made from PLA: a corn resin that will biodegrade within 100 days. That’s not even a year. That’s awesome.
The collection is succinct - there’s four colours and one plain balm.
Cordovan.natural is a great nude shade.
Violet.mousse is a pink/beige shade.
pink.scarlett is bright and fun.
red.shimmer is rich and sultry.
All Karen’s products come with eco cert certification from France - one of the most stringent testing bodies in the world.
I quite like the red.shimmer but I do think violet.mousse will quite happily become my day-to-day lippie. pink.scarlett is up there for fun… so hard to choose!
The best part is that at $25 - these gorgeous lipsticks are affordable enough to own more than one.
Which do you like best?

Hi Ingrid
Yes, I did take photos with the other shades but didn’t like them. However, I’ve decided not to be so vain and put them up.
